Leonie Sakatis, trading as SakatisMaths, of Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset BH16 6FA. Email hello@sakatismaths.co.uk. There is no company; you are buying from an individual trading under a business name.
Access for one named person to Beat the Traps, an online revision course for Edexcel A level Mathematics. It has 39 modules covering Pure, Statistics, Mechanics and exam technique, with theory cards, warm-ups, traps with worked solutions, and exam-style questions with mark schemes. You use it in a web browser at app.sakatismaths.co.uk. Nothing is posted to you and there is nothing to install.
Access lasts 12 or 24 months from the day it starts, whichever you choose. The 24-month option covers both years of the course for a student in Year 12.
£39 for one year. £65 for two years. That is the total, including any tax. There are no other charges, and nothing renews automatically — when the period ends, it ends. We take payment by card through Stripe. We sell to UK billing addresses only.
You must be 16 or over to buy. You can buy for yourself, or for someone else — a parent or carer for their child, or a tutor for a student. If you buy for someone else, you are our customer and the contract is with you, and they use the access. Only buy for someone else if they are happy for you to see their progress and to reset their password. If the person who will use it is under 16, someone 16 or over must buy it for them.
Choosing to pay is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we email you to confirm the order, not when you pay. If we cannot accept your order we will tell you and refund you in full.
When you buy, we email you a link to set the access up. It lasts 7 days, and we will send another if it runs out.
If the access is for you, you sign in with the email address you bought with and a password you choose.
If it is for someone else, you choose your own password first, then give us their name. We create their sign-in, a username and a starting password, and show it to you once. They choose their own password the first time they sign in. They do not need an email address. Their library tells them that you can see their progress.
You have 14 days from the day after we confirm your order to cancel and get your money back, without giving a reason.
At checkout there are two boxes, and neither is ticked for you. The first says you are 16 or over and accept these terms. The second asks us to start the access straight away and says you understand your 14-day right to cancel ends once it starts. Both are needed to buy. We repeat both in your order confirmation email, so you have them in writing.
Separately from the legal right above, we offer a goodwill refund. If you change your mind within 7 days of buying, write to hello@sakatismaths.co.uk and we will refund you in full, used or not. No reason needed. This is something we choose to offer, not a legal right, and it does not affect the 14-day right in the rest of this section.
Email hello@sakatismaths.co.uk, or write to the address above, and tell us clearly that you are cancelling. You can use the form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to — any clear statement will do. We will refund you within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card you paid with.
Please check these before buying, because they are the things that most often catch people out.
There is no copy protection on the files beyond the sign-in.
The law says digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you can ask us to repair or replace it, and if we cannot do that within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can ask for a refund. Write to support@sakatismaths.co.uk. These rights are in addition to anything in these terms and we cannot sign them away.
Access ends when your 12 or 24 months are up. It does not renew and we will never charge you again without you buying again. If you buy more time before your access ends, it is added on after the end date, so no days are lost. The end date is in your order confirmation email and on your account screen. We keep the buyer's email address for twelve months after access ends in case you come back, then delete it — the privacy notice explains this.
We may end access if a sign-in is shared or the material is copied. We will tell you why, and where it is fair to do so we will refund the part you have not used.
Write to hello@sakatismaths.co.uk and we will reply. If we cannot sort it out between us, you can take it to your local Trading Standards service through the Citizens Advice consumer helpline.
These terms are the ones that applied on the day you bought. If we change them later it does not affect your purchase. We may change the price of future sales at any time.
The law of England and Wales applies, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK you live in.
Only if you want to use it.
